It could be early in the morning or late in the evening, it could practically be at any time of the day. What matters is that you are comfortable with the time, and you could stick to it consistently.



2. Have a set word count for the day

Aside from having a set writing schedule, you should also set a daily word count for yourself. During the writing process there will be times where you may feel unproductive. By having a set word count, you’ll condition yourself to produce a specific amount of work. Remember that writing a book or creating long content takes time. Think of it as a marathon that you will have to overcome at your own pace. Don’t think that you could just sprint the whole time. So just write at your own pace, there’s no need to rush.

By having your very own author blog, you’ll have somewhere to post your work and show it to the reading public. Time management is not just limited to writing, it also includes how you properly release and market your work. The more efficient you are, the better you will be at managing your time.

Like any other profession, you will need a good workspace. Remember that you will be spending a lot of your writing, and if your workspace is lacking in any way, you will struggle to concentrate. The workspace could be anything. What’s important is that it has adequate lighting and furniture. There must also be good airflow in the room. Most important is that it a place where you could stay in for long periods of time.
